Is it necessary to visit Hungary when opening an account with a Hungarian bank?

When opening a bank account with a Hungarian bank the customer must be present in person. In most cases the opening of an account takes only a few hours, so a visit to Budapest, at least from the point of view of the bank account, need not be a long one; as a rule one working day is usually enough.

Hungary has a well developed infrastructure and the cost of a stay here is lower than in the countries of Western Europe. Besides, this is a beautiful and interesting country, a visit to which can prove both rewarding and enjoyable: it is possible to solve business problems while also enjoying a relaxing break.
